About Phoenix Insurance Group

Phoenix Insurance Group is an independent insurance agency with over twenty years of experience serving businesses nationwide. The firm specializes in commercial insurance solutions, representing many major standard carriers, including Travelers, Liberty Mutual, The Hartford, Chubb, and others.

Phoenix Insurance Group currently provides insurance coverage for nearly forty Feng Cha stores across the country, supporting franchisees with policies tailored to restaurant and beverage operations.

The agency’s approach focuses on helping business owners understand their insurance requirements, evaluate appropriate coverage options, and maintain compliance with brand and lease obligations—without over-insuring or adding unnecessary cost.

About Nam

Nam is the owner of Phoenix Insurance Group and has also been a Feng Cha franchisee for many years, currently owning and operating three Feng Cha locations himself.

Because of this dual perspective—as both an insurance professional and an active franchise operator—Nam has a practical understanding of the real operational risks, exposures, and insurance requirements faced by Feng Cha stores. This includes day-to-day operations, landlord and lease requirements, employee-related risks, equipment coverage, and general liability considerations specific to our concept.

His experience allows him to help franchisees:

  • Understand what types of insurance are required and why

  • Evaluate coverage limits and policy structure based on actual store operations

  • Avoid gaps in coverage while also avoiding unnecessary or redundant policies
